Gene Information

human ... NAAA(27163)

General description

This gene encodes an N-acylethanolamine-hydrolyzing enzyme which is highly similar to acid ceramidase. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. (provided by RefSeq)

Immunogen

NAAA (NP_055250, 36 a.a. ~ 104 a.a) partial recombinant protein with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26 KDa.

Endothelial cells are critical in angiogenesis and maintain the homeostasis of the blood‑brain barrier (BBB). Platelets (PLTs) are essential in vascular biology, including angiogenesis. The present study aimed to investigate the effect of PLTs on the aging of endothelial cells.
