Human B-Cell Non-Hodgkin′s Lymphoma
Cell Line Description
A human B cell lymphoma established from a pleural effusion of a 23-year-old woman with mediastinal lymphoblastic B-cell non-Hodgkin′s lymphoma. This cell line does not express BCL2.
Culture Medium
RPMI 1640 + 2mM Glutamine + 10 - 20% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS)
Subculture Routine
Maintain cultures between 0.5 - 1.5 x1000,000 cells/ml; 5% CO2; 37°C. Doubling time approximately 60-100 hours. Split saturated culture 1:2 to 1:3 every 2-3 days. Spherical cells growing in clusters in suspension. This cell line can be grown with 10% Foetal Bovine Serum rather than 20%.
