Protocadherin 18 (PCDH18) is part of the cadherin superfamily. It is located at the synapses in the central nervous system and contains six ectodomain repeats with cadherin-like features. The gene encoding PCDH18 is localized on human chromosome 4.

Anti-PCDH18 antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . Protocadherin 18 (PCDH18) is associated with synaptic functions and takes part in maintaining cell to cell connections in the brain. It acts as an activation marker of CD8⁺ memory T cells. A deletion in the gene has been associated with developmental delay in the brain.
