General description

Bisphenol A ethoxylate diacrylate (BAED) features two acrylate groups derived from bisphenol A, which enhance its reactivity and allows formation of high-performance epoxy resins via free radical polymerizaton. The presence of the bisphenol moiety contributes to exceptional thermal stability, making BAED suitable for high-performance applications.

Application

Bisphenol A ethoxylate diacrylate can be used:
  • As a cross linker to prepare quaternary gel electrolyte system for energy storage application via a photo-initiated phase separation process. BAED enhances ionic conductivity and thermal stability.
  • As a cross-linking agent in the formulation of dental sealants.
  • As a precursor to synthesize polymer nano coatings for flexible packaging.
