Application
- Evaluation of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, tetrasodium salt dihydrate (EDTA)-Tween 20 treatment versus protease digestion of formalin-fixed tissue sections for detection of bovine respiratory syncytial virus antigen in infected ovine lung.: This study compares the effectiveness of EDTA-Tween 20 treatment against protease digestion for detecting bovine respiratory syncytial virus antigen in formalin-fixed tissue sections of infected ovine lungs. The findings indicate that the EDTA-Tween 20 method is a viable alternative, offering a more efficient approach to antigen detection in veterinary pathology (Meehan et al., 1989).
