Description

Application

This is a chemical polishing reagent that can smooth the surface of lithium metal and remove native surface impurities. Treatment of lithium metal with this solution has been shown to improve the cycle life and rate performance of lithium metal batteries. Use of this reagent to treat your lithium foil removes the need for scraping to give you a clean lithium surface and may increase the quality and useful testing time for your half-cells.
