General description
CA2 is one of several (at least 7) isozymes of carbonic anhydrase. Carbonic anhydrase catalyzes reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. Defects in this enzyme are associated with osteopetrosis and renal tubular acidosis.
Immunogen
Synthetic 16 amino acid peptide from 3rd cytoplasmic domain of human P2RY13 / P2Y13. Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey (100%); Marmoset, Bovine, Bat (94%); Dog, Pig (81%).
