This antibody isotype has also been implicated in the development of autoimmune responses associated with the pathogenesis of type 1 diabetes in mice . Anti-Mouse IgM (μ-chain specific)-Biotin antibody is specific for mouse IgM when tested against mouse IgA, IgG, and IgM by ELISA.
